Catherin McMillan

Biography

Catherin is an International award winning artist from the South Coast of NSW. Painting and drawing have been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. She draws her inspiration from the animal kingdom from wildlife to domestic pets.

Subject, style and media

Having worked in a number of styles and mediums over the years, she is now working primarily with Chalk pastels. Watercolour is her second medium of choice.

She studied watercolour at Wellaway Private Art School for a number of years and completed a Fine Arts Certificate at the Nowra College of TAFE. She has also had the joy of studying with a number of watercolour and pastel artists.

Earlier in 2007 she released a line of gift cards, address labels and a number of both limited edition and open edition prints. Her work can be found in private collections in Australia, Canada, USA, Netherlands, France, Wales, England and Paraguay.
