Drawing and Painting from Nature: Watercolour over Pencil Workshop - 28th May

Dear WABA Members, you are invited to join us for a one day workshop with experienced artist and tutor Lesley Wallington.

This class will focus on illustrating subjects from nature using the technique of watercolour over fine pencil drawing.

The day will include instruction on using graphite pencils to build a drawing with strong value structure.   Basic watercolour techniques, physical colour mixing and transparent layering will be demonstrated and students will work towards completing several studies using watercolour over pencil.

Class is suitable for all levels of experience

Date & Time:  Saturday 28th May 2016, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm

Location:  Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve Office, 2 Dairy Road, Fyshwick

Workshop fee:  Member $110, Non-member $120.

Material list and direction to the venue will be sent after fee payment has been received.  Please bring your own lunch.  Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
