New WABA Treasurer - welcome Sam Blanks!

Dear Members,

As you are aware, Andrew Henley stepped down as Treasurer at the AGM in December and since then we have been actively searching for someone to take over this role. It therefore gives me great pleasure to welcome Sam Blanks to the Committee as our new Treasurer.  Sam is a recent graduate from the Natural History Illustration program in Newcastle and is about to embark on a Masters degree. She currently lives on the Central Coast.

I am confident that Sam will embrace the WABA community enthusiastically and I look forward to the positive contribution that she will no doubt make to the Committee and the management of WABA’s finances. As a talented artist, we can also look forward to seeing her work in our exhibitions, beginning with the Montague Exhibition next week.

Sam will be coming to the next Quarterly meeting on 21 May, so please come along to meet her and make her welcome.

Thank you,
