WABA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at Workspace A, M16: 6 – 8.30pm, 16th November

Dear WABA members,

You're invited to attend WABA's Annual General Meeting (AGM). Julia will present her annual report for the year, and members will elect a new committee.

Julia will be stepping down as President of WABA, having served for the past five years in this role.

We are still seeking nominations for the executive roles of President and Treasurer – both of which are very important for the continuation of our organisation. If you (or anyone you know) might be interested in either of these positions (including interstate members), please feel free to contact Julia (ajlandford@gmail.com) to discuss.

These are wonderful opportunities for the right person who has a genuine interest in contributing our goals. We also have a vacancy for a field trip coordinator, and this interesting role may also appeal to someone.

There are many ways for all members to contribute, including through non-committee roles – so let’s continue to work together to ensure that WABA has a bright future.

This meeting will also be an opportunity for members to put forward ideas for the next year so do come along, support your organisation and contribute to WABA’s future. Following the AGM business discussion, you are invited to stay on to celebrate the year, thank our outgoing committee and welcome in our new committee! Please bring a plate to share – drinks will be provided by WABA.
