Nominations are being called for ALL committee positions, to be elected at the AGM.
The committee consists of four office-bearers:
plus at least 3 ordinary members
These positions carry a good degree of responsibility, with WABA being a legal entity established under the Associations Incorporations Act 1991. The rules governing WABA, and further information about the responsibilities of the committee, can be viewed at:

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to keep WABA running.
WABA needs volunteers to help with several other roles including:
Field trip Co-ordinator
Card/bookmark Sales Co-ordinator
NO COMMITTEE, NO VOLUNTEERS, NO WABA!
Being a part of the committee enables you to have your say about the broader direction of the group, to help shape its future, and to contribute to its continued success as a vibrant, social and supportive artists group.
Please consider nominating yourself, or another member (with their permission) for one of these positions, and feel free to chat to any current or previous committee members or non-committee volunteers for further information. It is very important that members attend the AGM. This is your opportunity to step-up as a volunteer either on the committee or in other roles, and to raise ideas for the coming year. Please show your support for WABA - it is your association.
