The Conservation Council ACT has invited WABA (as Friends of the Conservation Council) to participate in a Heritage Festival event called 'Brushstrokes in the Bush'. It will be a family friendly event where people can bring a picnic and join in creating artwork or photographing their natural surrounds.
We still need a couple of people to help Julia Landford oversee community painting of canvases and participate in an artists' circle. WABA will also be selling cards/bookmarks and prints. Bring your easel, artwork and supplies for some casual painting with friends in natural surroundings. Please get involved in two hours of fun! The more, the merrier...
When: Sunday 6 April, 10.30am- 12.30pm (weather permitting)
Where: Justice Robert Hope Park (aka Watson Woodland) in Antill Street Watson
