Seasons Greetings & happy art working!

Wishing you a very happy Christmas and a safe and memorable New Year holiday with your friends and family... from all the WABA team!

Just a quick 'heads up' that dates for the 2014 'Wildlife Art @ Discovery' exhibition have now been confirmed. Our exhibition will be launched in Canberra on May 15th to coincide with a three day symposium titled: 'Discover Wildlife: Art and Science' (arranged by WABA in partnership with CSIRO). The exhibition will be taken down on June 2nd.

We will provide plenty more information about the exhibition and the symposium early in the New Year. However you might like to know at this early stage that the theme of the exhibition is threatened Australian fauna. Wildlife artists around Australia will be encouraged to reflect on specific animals and the conservation issues impacting on them. For a current list of threatened species, click here

The WABA team will soon be putting together promotional material for the exhibition and symposium, for which we need good quality images of appropriate artwork. Selected artwork will be fully attributed and will receive national exposure in newspapers and magazines as well as CSIRO and WABA websites and posters/ DL postcards with wide distribution. If you already have suitable images, the WABA team would love to hear from you by email:

Best wishes and happy art work.
