WABA Artist in Residence 2015

WABA and the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust are collaborating on organisation of a national Artist-in-Residency Program for two Australian artists at the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary and Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve.

The Arts Residencies will promote national awareness of some of the Territory’s most diverse avifauna habitat as well as the largest protected area of Yellow Box – Blakely’s Red Gum Grassy Woodland, listed nationally as a critically endangered ecological community. WABA’s Artist-in-Residency Program will support collaboration between artists and scientists, and promote greater community engagement with the endangered and threatened species programs within these two unique endangered Australian landscapes.
